Building the Standard for Premium-Grade Construction Safety

Construction safety has a data problem. Not a lack of data, but a lack of reliable data. Routines that get skipped. Workers who never received the briefing in a language they understood. Dashboards that show last week's numbers when you need today's. Safety technology that never quite made it past the pilot because IT couldn't deploy it at scale.

Every release we shipped in the first half of 2026 was aimed at the same thing: making BiltOn the platform that actually works across your entire portfolio, for every crew, every learning curve, every shift, every site.

From C-suite to safety leaders to field teams, here's what we built for you.

Safety routines your whole workforce can actually complete.

The most important role of a safety routine is its consistency. But it’s not that simple, especially when you're managing dozens of contractors, multiple shifts, and crews with varying learning curves and language barriers across different sites.

We redesigned the safety routine creation flow from the ground up. Every Toolbox Talk, Pre-Shift, and PTP now follows the same predictable structure: select the subcontractor, confirm participants, and fill out the form. No variation, confusion, or reason for a foreman to create variations from one site to another.

We also added support for parallel crews and multiple pre-shifts running simultaneously on the same project, so shift-based and activity-based operations are fully covered without workarounds.

And because the best reminder is the one that makes tasks simpler, bilingual push notifications now go directly to foremen and site officials with role-specific reminders before the set time window ends.

Safety content in every worker's language.

A safety briefing a worker doesn't understand isn't a safety briefing. It's a liability.

BiltOn is now fully available in Spanish, Mandarin, Russian, and Portuguese — across mobile, web, and the worker portal. Language is set at the worker profile level and delivered automatically. No one gets excluded from the documented record because they didn't speak English.

Reach every worker instantly.

Sometimes the most important safety tool is being able to get a message to every person on site in under 60 seconds.

Mass Texting now supports fixed groups between Site Workers and Foremen, as well as fully custom group creation and individual worker targeting. Supervisors can see message history, send to exactly the right crew, and know the alert landed. Whether it's a weather change, a site hazard, or a schedule update, the right people hear it immediately — including workers who don't have the app.

Video orientation that actually tracks.

Onboarding quality is the foundation of everything that follows. Enhanced Video Orientation brings full web dashboard visibility, automated reminders and invitations, completion tracking in reports, and improved notification flows. You'll know who completed orientation, who hasn't, and who needs a follow-up before they step foot on site.

A dashboard built for decisions, not just display.

Visibility without action isn't useful. We redesigned the web dashboard so every metric is a starting point, not an endpoint.

The navigation now lives in a left-oriented view, providing easier access to frequently used dashboards. Each dashboard link takes you directly to the filtered data. The company dashboard is now the default landing screen for company-level users, giving leadership an immediate cross-project view. And site and contractor filters are sharper, faster, and more precise.

For safety directors and executives managing large portfolios, this is the difference between a dashboard you periodically check and one you rely on daily.

Enterprise-ready from procurement to deployment

BiltOn is now SOC 2 Type 2 certified — independently audited across security, availability, and confidentiality controls over a sustained period. Combined with Single Sign-On via standard identity providers, BiltOn meets the security and procurement requirements that enterprise organizations require before any platform touches their workforce data.

For IT and innovation teams, this means deployment at org-wide scale without custom security workarounds. For executives, it means one fewer barrier between a pilot and a portfolio rollout.

24/7 operations, fully supported.

Construction doesn't stop at midnight. BiltOn now doesn't either.

Cross-midnight attendance support handles shift-based operations end to end — accurate attendance records, Procore daily log integration, and full safety routine support across every shift. Per-site timezone configuration ensures that timestamps across geographically distributed portfolios reflect when things actually happened, not when the server processed them.

What's next

This is the platform work that makes everything else possible. The data flowing in is consistent. The workforce is fully covered. The infrastructure is enterprise-grade.

What comes next builds directly on it. In the coming weeks we'll be sharing what we've built on top of this foundation — starting with AI capabilities that turn the safety data your teams are already generating into intelligence your leadership can act on.

Stay tuned.
